rules for classification and construction of seagoing ships stated by the
relevant
classification societies regulations (for instance LR, ABS, DNV GL, BV
etc.), ISO and Nationals standards.

Drinking water can spread a number of serious diseases. Therefore, a number of special requirements are imposed on water quality. The quality of the water shall comply with a quality standard specified by the receiving country or port. The rules consist of two parts. The first part reflects the requirements to be met in the design, construction and repair of ships and relating to the water supply system.
