INITIAL START UP and OPERATION of the re-hardening water filter JOWA F-75

When the filter material has been filled into the tank it should be filled with water through the inlet and then flushed. When clear water comes out through the outlet the filter is ready for operation and the valves should be set as described in the figurebelow.

When the filter is in operation both handles of the three-way valves should point downwards.

START UP and OPERATION of the re-hardening water filter HANSUN FIL-1.5

There are three main interface connections available, i.e freshwater inlet, outlet and back washing outlet. Before start check no leakage. The unit combined with normal operation and back washing purpose, for detail operation refer to figure below accordingly.

START UP and OPERATION of the Mineralizer DONG KWANG DKM-10

Initial start-up

Ready for mineralizer operation (see flow diagram figure below):

- open the vent valve (doesn’t mention in flow diagram) on the cover and fill up re-hardening water filter with water by using inlet valve 1 from the upper connection

- stop filling by using inlet valve 1 after mineralizer water filter is filled

- open drain valve 4 to rinse the dolomite and re-hardening material by using water (same activity is repeated about 1 hour)

- close the drain valve 4 and open the outlet valve, therefore mineralizer is ready for service

Operation in:

1) Normal condition

- all inlet valve 1 and outlet line valve 2 are open. Other valves are closed

- refer to flow diagram drawing (figure below)

2) Back-flushing

- bypass valve is open 3, inlet 3-way valve 1 closed for inlet and open for back-flushing, drain valve 4 closed, last outlet valve 2 is closed for outlet and open for back-flushing

- refer to flow diagram drawing (figure below)

3) By-pass

- bypass valve is open 3, inlet 3-way valve 1 closed for inlet, outlet valve 2 is opened for outlet and closed for back-flushing

- refer to flow diagram drawing (figure below)
