Air pressure systems

Air pressed systems are used in various purpose ships. The most developed Air pressed system in diesel and diesel-powered fishing vessels. Air pressed systems are also developed in ships using gas turbine engines.
The air pressed system used in ships consists of:

• Low pressure air systems (0.5-0.7 MPa), such as operating and control air systems;
• Medium pressure air systems (up to 3 MPa) used for starting and reversing diesel engines and can be used to generate audible signals (for typhoon operation).
  With the help of pressed air is pumped and stored in air receivers (cylinders). From them, the pressed air is filtered to dry and fed further to the compressed air systems.
