Lubricating oil in the vessels mainly to reduce friction between moving parts. Considering where lubrication oil is used. In addition to lubricating oil, additional functions are possible, such as: protection against corrosion, cooling, neutralization of combustion products or removal of other contaminants from the installation. It is therefore stored in different types of lubrication oil in the vessels. According to the equipment manufacturer's requirements are tested, inspected in laboratories, and modified if necessary. To prolong the service life, it is necessary to clean it in filters and separators. The most common lubrication systems on vessels are:
    Lubricating Oil storage systems;
    Transfer Lubricating Oil Systems;
    Lubricating oil Operation of the Separating System;
    The Lubricating Oil Supply to the Main Engine Of Deadweight Systems.

System of Bunkering Lubricating Oil

Lubricating oil is stored in the following tanks, which are in the engine room:
✔    Main engine oil storage tank;
✔    LO settling tank;
✔    Auxiliary generator engine storage tank;
✔    No.1 cylinder oil storage tank;
✔    No.2 cylinder oil storage tank.
Each oil storage tank also has a self-closing drainage valve which is designed to check if there is no water and to drain it. Oil hopper tanks are filled through special connections on the left and right sides of the upper deck.
