a)    First you need to press the Process START/ STOP button. The two parts of the program will then be activated (fuel ejection / storage and bowl emptying) and the separator will stop automatically. The HFO will be automatically recirculated through the three-way valve back to the HFO settling tank. 
b)   It is necessary to adjust the steam supplied to the heater to allow the fuel to cool.
c)    The supply pump must be stopped if it is in manual mode.
d)   Close the separator control air and water valves along with all other valves opened before starting.
e)    When the separator comes to a complete stop, the brake can be applied and prepared for cleaning if necessary.

The above description of the fuel cleaning process was related to the operation of the FO separator No. 1. If a No.2 FO separator is required, the piping diagrams and valve positions should be carefully considered before beginning any operations.
NOTE: Strict separation and disassembly of the separator manufacturer's instructions must be followed to avoid damage. The separator bowl rotates at very high speeds, and any imbalance or loose connection can have serious consequences.
