All ships are subjects for periodical surveys to
establish reasonable assurance that the ship, its hull structure, machinery,
equipment and systems remain in satisfactory condition and in compliance with
approval and accepted standards. Annual surveys are carried out yearly with due
date generally corresponding to class assignment anniversary date. The survey
time window is +/- 3 months from the due date.
