Completion requirements
Since a commercial
ship is a vehicle navigating in international waters, all machinery and systems
must be operated in accordance with international environmental protection laws
and regulations as shown with table and figures below. In this respect, a
welldesigned ERS must support shift engineers in managing the disposal of the
wastes belonging to machinery and systems according to international norms and
taking necessary corrective measures.
