Wheelhouse/equipment lighting controls

PT 7, Ch 9, Section 3.1.4 states that bridge ambient and bridge equipment lightning controls should be present at the navigation workstation. Dimmers for equipment situated at the MNC are located nearby the relevant equipment or integrated into the various control panels. Outdoor lightning controls are located on a separate panel which is situated at the aft bulkhead of the bridge.

  Efficinent dimming is challenging and when planning the bridge this topic should be taken into consideration as dimming is needed atleast twice a day,
