The exhaust gas cleaning system consists of multi-purpose installations that are characterized by their own failures. Such as:

  • electrical failures (loss or loss of electrical conductivity in contacts or conductors, loss or loss of insulation resistance in conductors);
  • pump failures (loss of pressure or performance due to wear or jamming);
  • faults in the system piping, its fittings or nozzles (leakage or loss of permeability);
  • faults in the flue gas cleaning equipment (water is not treated to the specified parameters, pollutants are not removed from the treatment equipment);
  • measuring instrument failures (measurement results are generated or do not correspond to the actual ones).

NOTE: A more detailed description of the possible signs and causes of faults can usually be found in the technical operating instructions of the device manufacturer.
