Engine exhaust is routed to the side of the scrubber if it is not operating properly or is turned off. The scrubber bypass valve opens if:

  • Press the bottom - SCRUBBER STOP.
  • Press the bottom - EMERGENCY STOP.
  • There is a fault in the pneumatic or electrical supply to the bypass valve.
  • An alarm has been triggered at the exhaust intake or other module or unit that stops the entire scrubber.

NOTE: The bypass damper control can be disconnected manually. The suction valve leading to the scrubber operates separately.
