Air handling unit control panel with command-and-control elements
The ventilation, purification and revitalization of the air is managed by a controller (Figure.16). The Air Handling Unit (AHU) (Fig. 17) operates automatically to provide the required ambient conditions. The operating program of the air handling unit, exchange air amount, speed, quality, temperature and humidity are set by the operator using the command elements on the control panel. The running values are controlled by means of monitors on control panel.
Ambient air, whose characteristics deviate from the set values, is drawn into the suction cell of the air handling unit through the aspirator fan and air ducts in order to be filtered and revitalized. Exhaust, mixed air and fresh air dampers are automatically adjusted by the controller, taking into account the outdoor and indoor air quality, for the desired air mixing ratio. The mixture air obtained is cleaned from the suspended materials by passing through the air filter. The cleaned air is brought to the desired psychometric values by heating, cooling, dehumidification, humidification and post-heating coils equipped with 3-way motorized valves. The air, which is brought to life by filtering, is sent back to the environment that air-conditioned.Figure.16 Air handling unit control panel with command-and-control elements
