Tanker

means a ship that meets the definition of that term in Chapter I, Regulation 2heart.

Tanker transporting chemicals

means a cargo ship constructed or adapted to carry any liquid flammable product specified in Chapter 17 of the IBC Code in its liquid cargo tanks (tanks) (as defined in Chapter VII, Regulation 8, Clause 1).

The central command post is regularly maintained.

It is a central control post where a responsible crew member is always on duty.

The flash temperature

the temperature, expressed in degrees Celsius (closed cup test), at which the product will give off sufficient flammable vapors to ignite, as determined by an approved flash point apparatus.

The helipad

It is a specially designed area on the ship where a helicopter can be landed with all of its structural components, fire extinguishing equipment, and other equipment required for the safe operation of helicopters.

The main control post of permanent standby

The main control station, where the responsible crewmember is always on duty.

The main fire safety control post

a post where the following means of control and signaling are centralized: ü fire-resistant door indicator panel; ü shuttered a fire resistant door; ü watertight door sealing; ü fans; ü general and/or fire alarms; ü communication systems including telephones; ü microphone of the mass media.

The main vertical zones

These are sections into which category A bulkheads divide the ship's hull, superstructures and deck cabins; as a rule, the average length and width of these sections on any of the decks does not exceed 40 m.
