Open compartments for vehicles

compartments open at one or both ends, with adequate natural ventilation effective throughout the length of such compartment via permanently open openings in the side plating or deck bottom, or compartments with a total area equal to or greater than 10% of the total area of the compartment's side walls.

Open deck

The deck is entirely exposed to the outdoors from above and on at least two sides.
