A vessel's empty weight

When a ship is empty of cargo, fuel, lubricating oil, water ballast, fresh or processed water stored in tanks, purchasable stores, passengers, crew, and their personal effects, its water capacity is expressed in tons.

Arrangement for liquid fuel
