
When joining the course you will practice:
1. Deepening Understanding of Mental Resilience;
2. Integrating Mind-Body Approaches in PT;
3. Evaluating the Impact of PT on Mental Resilience;
4. Enhancing the ability to critically evaluate emerging theories in mental resilience and mind-body interventions and
5. Understanding Cultural Differences in Mind-Body Approaches in PT Practice.
This course innovations are to equip students with tools to evaluate and strengthen mental resilience while fostering a deeper understanding of holistic physiotherapeutic approaches that bridge scientific knowledge and practical application. By the end of this course, you will have a deeper understanding of mental resilience, hands-on experience with mind-body approaches, and practical tools to evaluate and support your clients in achieving better health outcomes.

PREPARATION PHASE FOR THE COURSE (1 ECTS)

» The preparation for the course will include pre-course tasks
» Online meeting with all enrolled students and teachers

ON-SITE COURSE (2 ECTS)
» in collaboration with your local fellow students, you will prepare to pitch your own university to other students.
» you will review and share knowledge about the basic physiology of the Automous Nervous System (ANS).
» you will learn about assessment tools for evaluation of ANS function.
» you will discuss and practice mind-body exercises that are known to affect the ANS.
» you will learn from experts how they support client's mental resilience and implement mind-body approaches in their
physiotherapy practice.
